Sani Festival
Sani Resort's annual open-air festival on the Kassandra peninsula — Greece's longest-running privately organised music festival, founded in 1992 — runs from 11 July to 15 August 2026, with Robert Plant opening and Vicky Leandros closing the season.
Sani Resort has staged its open-air music festival on Sani Hill on the Kassandra peninsula of Halkidiki since 1992 — the first edition ran three days of jazz — making it the longest-running privately organised festival in Greece. The site, marked by a medieval tower, sits approximately one hour’s drive from Thessaloniki. The programme has accumulated 385 concerts, performances, and events across its first three decades.
The 2026 season runs from 11 July to 15 August. Robert Plant opens on 11 July, joined by Saving Grace and Suzi Dian, performing blues and folk material from the band’s debut album alongside reimagined catalogue pieces. James Arthur follows on 18 July. Dimitra Galani and Eleni Tsaligopoulou share the stage with the Estudiantina Neas Ionias on 25 July. The Waterboys perform on 1 August, Soul II Soul on 8 August, and Vicky Leandros closes on 15 August.
The festival holds certification as Greece’s first sustainable music festival, operating carbon-neutral on renewable electricity and conforming to the ISO 20121 standard for event sustainability management.
