The Aegean Film Festival is an annual open-air film festival held each July on Patmos, in the Dodecanese, since 2010. The 15th edition runs from 16 to 24 July 2026, across nine evenings.

The festival builds its venues each summer rather than using permanent theatres. The Marianna Cinema at Skala seats 250 before a nine-metre screen with Dolby sound and holds the feature programme and the opening and awards ceremonies; the Aktis pop-up stands on the beachfront; and a third screen occupies the old shipyard at Diakoftis, where a dinner and a film share the evening. Features, documentaries, shorts and an immersive programme compete for seven Seahorse Awards. The 2025 jury included the head of the short films department of the Festival de Cannes. The full programme is announced on 24 June.

Patmos has no airport and is reached only by sea. The island is traditionally identified as the place where the Book of Revelation was written.
