Cookies Policy
Our Privacy Statement, Terms of Use, and Cookies Policy collectively constitute the complete policy framework governing your engagement with the house and your use of this website.
Our Privacy-First Approach
At Greek Concierge, we believe your privacy is paramount. Unlike many websites, we do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking. We do not build profiles about you or share your data with advertisers.
1. What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that is sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Cookies can serve various purposes, from remembering your preferences to tracking your activity across websites.
2. What Cookies Do We Use?
We use two kinds of cookie and no others: those strictly necessary for the Site to function, which cannot be disabled without impairing it, and a small number of first-party functional cookies that simply remember a choice you have made — your display language, how you found us, the villas you have shortlisted. None of them builds a profile of you, follows you to another website, or is shared with anyone.
Cookies We Use
- Session cookies: Temporary cookies that enable core site functionality and are deleted when you close your browser.
- Authentication cookies: If you log in to our site, these cookies securely maintain your session.
- Security cookies: Help protect against fraudulent activity and maintain the integrity of our services.
- Referral attribution (gc_utm): If you arrive via a referral link, this cookie stores the referral source for 90 days so we can attribute your inquiry to the correct referrer.
- Villa shortlist (gc_shortlist): If you add a villa to your shortlist, this cookie remembers which ones for 90 days, so they are still there when you return. It holds the web addresses of those villas and nothing else — no name, no contact detail, nothing about you.
- Partner portal session (gc_partner_session): Set only if you are a Referral Partner and have signed in to your portal. It keeps you signed in for 30 days, so you are not asked for a fresh code on every visit. It holds a single random value and nothing about you.
3. What We Don't Use
To protect your privacy, we explicitly do not use:
- Google Analytics or any third-party analytics tracking
- Facebook Pixel or any social media tracking pixels
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking cookies
- Any cookies that build profiles about your browsing behavior
4. Third-Party Services
Our website uses certain third-party services that may set their own cookies for functional purposes only:
- Supabase: Our backend service provider, which may set session cookies for authentication purposes.
These services are configured to respect your privacy and do not track you across websites.
5. Managing Cookies
There is no cookie consent banner on our site. The strictly necessary cookies above are exempt from the prior-consent requirement — a rule which lives in the ePrivacy Directive rather than, as is commonly assumed, the GDPR. The functional ones are first-party, narrow in purpose, build no profile and are never shared, so we disclose them here plainly rather than place a banner between you and the Site.
If you still wish to manage cookies, you can configure your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of our Site. Information about managing cookies can be found at:

6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
7. Contact Us
If you have any questions about our use of cookies or this policy, please contact us.
