Hospitality Hostess
About the Role
Greek Concierge is looking for a Hospitality Hostess to represent the house at its own gatherings and at the occasions its partners ask it to attend. The work is on-site, in Athens, the Greek Islands and London, where our parent company is based.
The role is part-time and engaged occasion by occasion through the season rather than on fixed hours. You are the first person guests meet on arrival and the person who keeps the evening running once it is under way.
These occasions are the house's own and its partners'. A client's private occasion belongs to the advisor engaged for it, and you would not be sent to one.
What You'll Do
- Welcome arriving guests and manage the door list
- Stay attentive through the evening — notice what guests need and act on it without interrupting the occasion
- Work with the host, the venue and the house's team to keep the evening to its timings
- Deal with problems at the door or in the room quietly, and raise anything you cannot resolve with the house's contact for that occasion
- Keep guest names, guest lists and anything said in the room to yourself
Who You Are
The role requires:
- Experience hostessing private events, galas or premium hospitality occasions
- Fluent English
- Availability on evenings and weekends through the Greek event season
- That you are based in Greece or the United Kingdom
We also look for:
- Polished presentation and an unhurried, confident manner with international guests
- Composure when an occasion changes at short notice — a late arrival, a room that fills faster than planned, a guest who needs handling quietly
- Greek, and any further languages
What We Offer
Part-time engagement, occasion by occasion, through the season, working alongside the house's team, its partners and the venues it uses across Athens, the Greek Islands and London.
Pay is agreed for each engagement, to your experience.
Apply
Applications close on 27 September 2026. The form asks three questions in your own words: why you want to work with Greek Concierge, a piece of work you are proud of, and your most relevant experience. There is nothing to attach — if we want a CV or photographs, we will ask for them.
We read every application, and contact the candidates whose experience
fits the role.
Thank you for your patience while
we do.
