Chefs on the Beach
Chefs on the Beach is W Costa Navarino's annual open-fire guest-chef dining series on the Messenian shore; the 2026 edition, its third, sets six one-night dinners between 17 July and 3 September, with a different visiting chef cooking over open fire each evening.
Chefs on the Beach is an annual open-fire guest-chef dining series held on the shoreline of W Costa Navarino, the resort at Costa Navarino in Messinia, in the southwest Peloponnese. The 2026 edition is its third consecutive season, running across the summer as a sequence of one-night dinners in which a visiting chef cooks over open fire by the sea. The first dinner falls on 17 July 2026.
The 2026 series sets six dated evenings between July and early September, each given over to a single guest chef: Michalis Merzenis on 17 July, Osman Sezener on 31 July, Luca Piscazzi on 10 August, Niklas Ekstedt on 21 August, Giorgos Kattaras on 28 August, and Panagiotis Giakalis on 3 September. Each evening is built around live-fire cooking staged on the beach rather than in a dining room.
Chefs on the Beach is the centrepiece of the resort’s summer gastronomy programme, which W Costa Navarino reopened for the 2026 season on 2 April.
