The Aegean Regatta is an annual offshore sailing race through the islands of the north-eastern Aegean, organised by the General Secretariat for the Aegean and Island Policy of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Island Policy, in cooperation with the Offshore Racing Committee of the Hellenic Sailing Federation. It has run without interruption for more than two decades. The 24th edition ran from 23 to 30 August 2025, departing Myrina on Lemnos and finishing at Mytilene on Lesvos.
The 2025 course comprised three offshore legs of roughly twenty-one, seventy-six and twenty nautical miles. Stopovers were made at the small island of Agios Efstratios and at Plomari on Lesvos, where a coastal race was sailed before the fleet closed on Mytilene for a final inshore run. The shore programme at each stopover included receptions, music and island hospitality.
