The Athens Trophy

The Athens Trophy is an annual offshore sailing regatta in the Saronic Gulf, sailed across two May weekends and co-organised by six Attic sailing clubs. The 17th edition is scheduled for early to mid-May 2027.

The Athens Trophy is an annual offshore sailing regatta in the Saronic Gulf, sailed across two May weekends and co-organised by six Attic sailing clubs. The 17th edition is scheduled for early to mid-May 2027. The 16th edition was sailed on 9–10 and 16–17 May 2026; the 15th on the matching mid-May weekends in 2025.

The co-organising clubs are the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club, the Nautical Club of Tzitzifies-Kallithea, the Nautical Athletic Club of Peace and Friendship of Kallithea, the Nautical Club of Palaio Faliro, the Nautical Club of Peace and Friendship, and the Sailing Club of Piraeus. The Tzitzifies-Kallithea club has belonged to the co-organising arrangement since 2023. The Trophy is part of the Athens Sailing Circuit and races the ORC fleet in its Performance and Coastal classes in the Saronic Gulf.

The courses are started and finished in the gulf, with the marinas of Kallithea and Faliron serving as the base for the competing fleet.
