The Two Oedipuses is a theatrical work by Yannis Houvardas combining Sophocles’s Oedipus Rex and Oedipus at Colonus into a single continuous narrative. Houvardas translated, adapted and directed the production, which was performed at the fourth-century BC theatre of Epidaurus on 25 and 26 July 2025 within the Athens Epidaurus Festival’s seventieth season.

The two tragedies were played in reverse chronological order, from the blind exile’s arrival at Colonus back toward the origin of his fate. The production included live music, set design by Eva Manidaki, and lighting by Nikos Vlasopoulos, with an ensemble of established Greek actors. The production marked fifty years of Houvardas’s work in the theatre.
