The Rodos Cup

The Rodos Cup is an annual offshore sailing race held across the Dodecanese, organised by the Athletic Association of Open Sea Sailors of Rhodes. It was first run in 1997 under the name International Sailing Week and is one of the largest sailing races in Greece. The 29th edition runs from 5 to 10 July 2026, starting at Kos and finishing at Rhodes.
The course crosses the southern Dodecanese in three offshore legs: Kos to Nisyros, Nisyros to Tilos, and Tilos to Rhodes, with a rest day at Tilos between the second and third. Monohulls are scored under ORC Club and ORC International. The fleet gathers at Kos Marina before the start.
The 2026 fleet numbers 40 yachts, with crews entered from Greece and abroad. The 2024 edition drew 52 boats from 14 countries. The Municipality of Rhodes is among the co-organisers, and the racing closes with a prize ceremony at Rhodes on 10 July.
