The Posidonia Cup is a biennial offshore sailing race held at Mikrolimano in Piraeus, organised by the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (HORC) with Posidonia Exhibitions SA. The 12th edition is held on Friday 29 May 2026. The fleet numbers over fifty yachts and around six hundred crew, sailing in four classes: Performance, Standard, Megayachts, and Classic & Traditional. The race opens Posidonia Week; the Posidonia Exhibition follows three days later at Metropolitan Expo for its 1–5 June run, with more than two thousand exhibitors from ninety countries.
Bank of Cyprus is the gold sponsor. The regatta is held under the auspices of the Greek Ministries of Maritime Affairs, Education and Tourism, and the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping. Proceeds support HORC’s educational programmes. HORC was founded at Mikrolimano in 1961, has run an offshore sailing school since 1969 offering six courses a year, and operates from a four-storey neoclassical clubhouse on the harbour. World Sailing has assigned HORC five world championships, and the club represents Greece on the International Mediterranean Classic Yachting Committee.
The awards are presented at the waterside on the evening of the race.
