The Porto Heli International Festival
The Porto Heli International Festival of Art and Culture is an annual festival of classical music and the arts held at the Manessis Estate in Porto Heli, Greece, from 25 July to 9 August 2026, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture.
The Porto Heli International Festival of Art and Culture is an annual festival of classical music, recitals and pedagogy seminars held at the Manessis Estate in Porto Heli, Greece. It is held under the auspices of, and funded by, the Greek Ministry of Culture, and directed by Yannis Grigorakis for the non-profit ΟΜ.Ε.ΔΙ.ΠΟ. The 2026 edition runs from 25 July to 9 August.
The festival was founded in 1990 by the pianist Yorgos Manessis (1931–2015), who was raised on the family estate at Porto Heli and trained in Munich, Vienna and New York. The Manessis Estate, a private hillside property cultivated by the family across the early twentieth century, holds a Steinway & Sons concert grand for the recitals. Concerts are held in the late evening.
The 2026 programme includes the sixth Piano Conference, running from 30 July to 1 August, alongside soprano evenings, cello and guitar recitals, and pedagogy seminars.
