STEGI.RADIO Takeover

The STEGI.RADIO Takeover is the annual electronic music festival of STEGI.RADIO, the online radio station of the Onassis Foundation, staged across the Onassis Stegi at 107–109 Syngrou Avenue in Athens. For two nights each winter the station’s broadcast programming is presented live through the building, with the Main Stage run as a club floor and further stages on the upper and lower levels. The three editions held to date have fallen between late January and mid-February; the fourth is expected in the same window of 2027.

The festival began in February 2024, when the station took over the building for three days with more than thirty artists on three stages. The 2025 edition ran on 24 and 25 January across four stages, and the 2026 edition, held on 13 and 14 February, closed with a four-hour back-to-back set by the Detroit producers Carl Craig and Moodymann, with Omar Souleyman and MC Yallah among the first night’s names. The 2026 edition also introduced a free masterclass programme on festival organisation, held alongside the club nights.

STEGI.RADIO broadcasts online around the clock from Athens and curates the music programming of the Onassis Stegi, the Onassis Foundation’s cultural centre in Neos Kosmos. The Takeover is the fixture at which that year-round output is presented as a live programme.
