The Patmos Chamber Music Festival

Roberto Prosseda's Patmos Chamber Music Festival — founded in 2022 and organised with the Municipality of Patmos — ran its fourth edition from 26 to 31 August 2025, with Steven Isserlis, Michel Dalberto and the Adorno Quartet among the performers, every concert free by reservation.

The Patmos Chamber Music Festival is an annual chamber music festival held on the island of Patmos in the Dodecanese, founded in 2022 by the pianist Roberto Prosseda, its artistic director, with executive director Massimo Fino. It is organised by the Associazione Patmos Chamber Music Festival with the Municipality of Patmos, with the support of the South Aegean Region. The fourth edition ran from 26 to 31 August 2025.

Performers at the 2025 edition included the cellist Steven Isserlis, the pianist Michel Dalberto, the violinists Irène Duval and Barnabas Kelemen, the cellists Christophe Coin and Henri Demarquette, the Adorno Quartet, and Roberto Prosseda at the keyboard. The film director Bruno Monsaingeon presented a documentary screening between the concerts. The programme included works paying homage to John Tavener, the English composer who lived for years on Patmos; Isserlis and the tenor Ian Bostridge performed as his interpreters.

Concerts were held at the Old School of Chora and the schoolhouses of Skala. Entry was free of charge by reservation. The 2025 chamber week closed on 31 August; the 23rd Patmos Sacred Music Festival opened on 1 September.
