The Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum

The Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum is a biennial conference for Mediterranean cruise and yachting leadership, held in Greece in odd years. The ninth edition is expected in mid-May 2027, provisionally set for 11 and 12 May.

The Posidonia Sea Tourism Forum is a biennial conference held in Greece, organised by Posidonia Exhibitions SA, the company behind the biennial Posidonia shipping exhibition. Launched in 2011 and held every second year in May, it convenes the executives of international cruise lines and yachting companies, port authorities, destinations, and tourism ministries of the Eastern Mediterranean basin, with the active support of CLIA Europe and MedCruise. The ninth edition is provisionally set for 11 and 12 May 2027, with the host city to be confirmed.

The eighth Forum was held on 6 and 7 May 2025 at the Creta Maris Resort near Heraklion, Crete — the first time the Forum had been hosted on Greece’s largest island. Its programme covered destination sustainability, port infrastructure and the decarbonisation of the cruising fleet, across two days of keynotes, panels and workshops.

Posidonia Exhibitions SA has indicated Spring 2027 as the period for the ninth edition; the host city and venue are to be confirmed.
