The Megaron Spring Festival is an annual week of recitals and dance held each spring at Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue. The 2025 edition ran from 8 to 14 April. It opened on 8 April with the American mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato in recital with pianist Craig Terry, and closed on 13 and 14 April with the French Ballet Preljocaj performing Angelin Preljocaj’s Requiem(s), a work that reimagines the Mozart and Verdi requiems as a sequence of invented rituals of mourning.

The 2025 programme also included pianist Igor Levit on 9 April, in a programme running from Bach’s Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue to Liszt’s transcription of Beethoven’s Eroica; Nikolai Lugansky on 11 April with the Athens State Orchestra; and Bruce Liu on 12 April with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, his Megaron debut. The Athens Concert Hall opened in 1991 and is the city’s principal address for symphonic and recital programming.
