Giselle is a production of the Romantic ballet by the Greek National Opera Ballet, staged at the Stavros Niarchos Hall from 20 December 2026 to 10 January 2027 across eleven performances, including an evening on 31 December. The staging uses Marius Petipa’s choreography in the revival prepared by Verónica Villar and Elena Iglesias, first given by the company in the winter of 2025/26. The score is Adolphe Adam’s original with additions by Friedrich Burgmüller and Boris Asafyev, conducted by José Salazar. Sets and costumes are designed by Dido Gogkou; lighting is by Eleftheria Deko.

The company engages international principals for the run alongside its own corps. Among those named are Maia Makhateli, Elisabeth Tonev, Ksenia Ovsyanick, Carollina Bastos, Leticia Dias, Young Gyu Choi and Alejandro Virelles. Booking for the October-to-December trimester opened on 1 June 2026. The Stavros Niarchos Hall is the Greek National Opera’s principal stage within Renzo Piano’s Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre in Kallithea, where the company has been resident since 2017.
