Flora mirabilis is a production of Spyridon Samaras’s opera of the same name by the Greek National Opera, staged in the Stavros Niarchos Hall on 18, 20, 23 and 30 March 2025. The production was conducted by Konstantinos Terzakis and directed by Yannis Skourletis. Samaras’s opera was first performed in Milan in 1886 and belongs to the Ionian Music School tradition of Greek composers writing in the Italian operatic idiom.

Samaras was a Corfiot composer who wrote the Olympic Anthem, first heard at the 1896 Athens Games. The Greek National Opera, founded in 1939, has maintained a programme of restoring the Ionian repertoire to the stage. The Stavros Niarchos Hall is the company’s 1,400-seat principal auditorium within the Renzo Piano–designed Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre, which the company has occupied since 2017.
