Art Athina is an annual contemporary art fair held in Athens, founded in 1993 by the Hellenic Art Galleries Association. It is among the oldest contemporary-art fairs in Europe and the longest-running in the Eastern Mediterranean. The 2025 edition ran from 18 to 22 September at the Zappeion, gathering seventy-two galleries from Greece and abroad.
The fair presents painting, sculpture, digital work and experimental practice, alongside a parallel programme of curated sections, performance and design projects. The 18 September opening was held by invitation; the fair opened to the public across the long weekend, twelve hours each day. The Zappeion, completed in 1888 to a design by Theophil Hansen, was the first building constructed for the modern Olympic Games and houses the fair in its neoclassical halls within the National Garden.
