The Spetses Classic Yacht Regatta is an annual regatta for classic wooden yachts and traditional Greek caiques, held in the waters between Spetses and the Peloponnesian coast. It is organised by the Yacht Club of Greece in cooperation with the Municipality of Spetses. The 2026 edition runs from 17 to 20 June and marks fifteen years since the regatta was first held in 2011. The Poseidonion Grand Hotel on the Spetses waterfront serves as the shore base.
The regatta is restricted to restored vintage hulls and gaff rig rather than carbon construction, and competing vessels are assessed on the water and at the dock. The fleet is drawn from classic wooden yachts of the Mediterranean classic-yacht circuit and from traditional Greek caiques racing alongside them. Spetses has restricted private cars from its lanes since the early 1960s, and the island’s car-free harbour provides the backdrop for racing and prizegiving alike.
