SNF Nostos

SNF Nostos is the Stavros Niarchos Foundation's free summer festival in Kallithea, running 21 to 28 June 2026 with concerts by David Byrne, Jean-Michel Jarre and Gorillaz and the SNF Nostos Conference under the theme 'Humanity at the core'.

SNF Nostos is the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s annual festival of concerts and public talks, held each summer free of charge across the grounds of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Kallithea. The 2026 edition, from 21 to 28 June, marks thirty years of the foundation’s grant-making — more than 5,600 grants across 137 countries since 1996.

The concert programme, produced with Release Athens, opens on 21 June with David Byrne on the Great Lawn, joined by Nation of Language in the band’s first Greek performance. Jean-Michel Jarre follows on 22 June with an immersive audiovisual set, and on 25 June Gorillaz headline at Plateia Nerou alongside The Flaming Lips and Jehnny Beth. Tickets are set at forty to fifty per cent below the usual price for comparable line-ups.

Running alongside the concerts, the SNF Nostos Conference gathers the foundation’s grantee-partners in a participatory format under the theme ‘Humanity at the core’, across four thematic hubs: arts and culture, civics and education, health and sports, and the future. The Greek National Opera contributes performances produced for the occasion. The festival closes on 28 June.
