Pyx Lax at the Theatro Gis
Pyx Lax played the open-air Theatro Gis in Thessaloniki on Wednesday 25 June 2025, as part of the 11th Forest Festival of the State Theatre of Northern Greece.
Pyx Lax at the Theatro Gis was a concert by the Greek rock band on Wednesday 25 June 2025, in the programme of the 11th Forest Festival in Thessaloniki. The State Theatre of Northern Greece stages the festival each summer from June to September across the Theatro Dasous, the Theatro Gis, the Society for Macedonian Studies and the Moni Lazariston.
The Theatro Gis is an open-air theatre of 4,332 seats, built in 1998 in a former quarry at Triandria to designs by the architect Manos Perrakis. The State Theatre of Northern Greece has operated since 1961, and the Public Power Corporation was the principal sponsor of the 2025 festival.
Pyx Lax first played together in 1989 and have released 15 albums. The band’s summer 2025 dates in Greece and Cyprus followed the release of a new album in May, and the Thessaloniki concert came five days after the band played the Theatro Vrachon in Athens.
