The PHILPA Concours d'Elegance

The PHILPA Concours d’Elegance is a judged display of historic automobiles on the promenade at Flisvos Marina in Palaio Faliro, organised by PHILPA, the Friends of the Old Car. The 22nd edition is expected in the autumn of 2027. Recent editions fell in the same season: the 19th edition took place on 15 October 2023, the 20th on 13 October 2024, and the 21st on 12 September 2026.
Owners enter their cars, and a jury of three judges them on design, authenticity, condition of preservation and uniqueness. The 2026 edition drew 70 cars built between 1917 and 2004, from a Ford Model T to a Mercedes SLR McLaren, across eight classes that included Pre-war, Youngtimer Sports Cars and a Porsche Classic class. Porsche Greece was the principal sponsor. The club renamed the event in memory of Robert Smith, whom it names as the originator of the concours and who died in March 2025.
PHILPA was founded in 1972 as the first historic-vehicle club in Greece. It is among the longest-standing clubs affiliated to FIVA, the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens, and has long served as its official representative in Greece.
