The PHILPA Concours d’Elegance is an annual judged display of historic automobiles held on the promenade at Flisvos Marina, on the coast at Palaio Faliro south of central Athens. The 21st edition opens at 10.00 on Saturday 12 September 2026. It is dedicated to the late Robert Smith, whom the club names as the inspiration behind the concours.
Cars are entered by their owners and judged on design, authenticity, condition of preservation and uniqueness, in the manner of the older European concours rather than as a race or a rally. The organiser is PHILPA, the Friends of the Old Car, founded in 1972 as the first historic-vehicle club in Greece and for more than twenty years the only one. It is the Greek representative to FIVA, the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens, and issues the FIVA identity cards that classify a vehicle by year of manufacture.
The club has occupied its own building at Gerakas in Attica since 2012, publishes the magazine PHILPA News, and runs a wider calendar of tours and competitions including the PHILPA Trophy.
