The Ohi Day Military Parade is the state parade held in Thessaloniki each year on 28 October. The date is the national anniversary of 1940, when Greece said “Ohi”, meaning “no”, to the Fascist and Nazi powers. On Wednesday 28 October 2026, military, student and civilian detachments will march on Leoforos Megalou Alexandrou before the President of the Republic.

In 2025 the day opened at sunrise with a 21-gun salute fired by an artillery unit of III Army Corps. At 10.30am the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki led a memorial service at the III Army Corps war memorial, and the President laid a wreath there. The parade began at 11am, and a second 21-gun salute closed the day at sunset.

The 2025 parade passed before President Konstantinos Tasoulas and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. An innovation detachment marched for the first time, and fast unmanned surface vessels appeared in a Greek military parade for the first time. The Zeus display team of the Hellenic Air Force flew formations over the route during the parade.
