Natassa Bofiliou at the Theatro Gis

Natassa Bofiliou sang three nights at the Theatro Gis in Thessaloniki in the 11th Forest Festival: "Kati Kaigetai 2: O Megalos Kyklos" on 30 June 2025, and a Mikis Theodorakis programme on 12 and 13 September.

Natassa Bofiliou at the Theatro Gis was a series of three concerts in Thessaloniki in 2025, with two programmes. She sang “Kati Kaigetai 2: O Megalos Kyklos” on Monday 30 June, and “Mes stous anthismenous kipous”, a programme for Mikis Theodorakis, on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 September. The concerts formed part of the 11th Forest Festival, the summer season that the State Theatre of Northern Greece stages from June to September at the Forest Theatre, the Theatro Gis, the Society for Macedonian Studies and the Lazarist Monastery.

The June show was “Kati Kaigetai 2: O Megalos Kyklos”, the second cycle of the programme Bofiliou created with the composer Themis Karamouratidis, who wrote the arrangements and played piano, and Gerasimos Evangelatos, who shaped the programme. The cycle opened with a winter run at the Vox in Athens before its summer tour.

Bofiliou sang with a band of electric bass, drums, clarinet, guitar, cello and a string section of violins and viola. In June the Forest Festival also brought Socratis Malamas and Pyx Lax to the Theatro Gis.
