The Lloyd's List Greek Shipping Awards

Lloyd’s List’s annual Greek Shipping Awards is a black-tie dinner held each December in Athens since 2004, with recipients chosen by an independent panel. The twenty-second edition was presented on Friday 5 December 2025 at the Athenaeum InterContinental, before more than a thousand guests.

Maria Angelicoussis, chief executive of Greece’s largest shipping company, was named Greek Shipping Personality of the Year, in the year she completed the $2bn acquisition of Altera Shuttle Tankers, the largest transaction in the history of the Angelicoussis Group. Neptune Lines was named Dry Cargo Company of the Year and Seaven Tanker Management took the tanker category.
