Alkistis Protopsalti and Nikos Portokaloglou at the Theatro Gis

Alkistis Protopsalti and Nikos Portokaloglou at the Theatro Gis was the Thessaloniki date of the summer 2026 tour on which the singer and the songwriter appeared together for the first time. The concert took place on Wednesday 17 June 2026, two nights after the pair played the Theatro Vrachon in Athens. The tour had opened in Cyprus earlier in June and continued to Ioannina on 18 June and Kiato on 20 June.

The concert was part of the 12th Forest Festival, the summer season the State Theatre of Northern Greece runs across its open-air stages. The Theatro Gis is an open-air theatre of 4,332 seats, built in 1998 in a former quarry at Triandria to designs by the architect Manos Perrakis.

Thomas Kontogeorgis wrote the arrangements and played piano. The band included Sakis Azas on guitar, Panagiotis Zafeiropoulos on trombone, Marios Laz Ioannidis on bass and Kostas Mylonas on drums. Lifeworks Productions and 360 Entertainment produced the tour.
