Vasilis Papakonstantinou at the Theatro Vrachon

Vasilis Papakonstantinou at the Theatro Vrachon was the singer’s annual summer concert in Athens, held on Saturday 20 June 2026 at the Theatro Vrachon Melina Merkouri in Vyronas. The Athens date has become a fixture of his year. In 2024 he played the same theatre on 23 September to close his summer tour, and in 2026 the date moved to June.

The programme drew on more than five decades of recordings, from his best-known songs to ballads and his electric material. Andreas Apostolou wrote the arrangements and played piano and keyboards. Mary Brozi played violin, Giannis Avgeris and Apostolos Mosios played guitars, Giorgos Katsikas played drums and Petros Varthakouris played electric bass. Stray Music organised the production.

The concert belonged to the 2026 season of the Sti Skia ton Vrachon festival, run by the joint culture network of the municipalities of Vyronas and Dafni-Ymittos. Papakonstantinou took the same programme to the Theatro Gis in Thessaloniki four nights later, on 24 June.
