STEGI.RADIO Takeover
The 2026 STEGI.RADIO Takeover, the third edition of the Onassis Foundation's annual electronic music festival, ran on 13 and 14 February at the Onassis Stegi in Athens across four stages, closing with a four-hour back-to-back set by Carl Craig and Moodymann.
The STEGI.RADIO Takeover of 13 and 14 February 2026 was the third edition of the annual electronic music festival at which STEGI.RADIO, the Onassis Foundation’s online radio station, presents its programming live across the Onassis Stegi at 107–109 Syngrou Avenue in Athens. The two nights ran on four stages, from the Main Stage and the Upper Stage to the basement Level −1 and a third-floor foyer.
The programme drew lines between the Detroit scene, contemporary French production, the street parties of Tanzania, the UK’s reggae and dub soundsystem culture, the ecstatic musical tradition of Syria, and the club scene of Athens. Omar Souleyman and MC Yallah with Debmaster headlined the first night; the second closed with a four-hour back-to-back set by the Detroit producers Carl Craig and Moodymann on the Main Stage, on a bill that included DJ Holographic, DJ Travella, Nadah El Shazly and Warrior Queen.
The edition introduced a series of free masterclasses for the first time, covering the organisation and communication of a large music festival, together with a workshop for those beginning in electronic music production. The first Takeover, in February 2024, had run for three days; the fixture has since held to two nights.
