Pyx Lax at the Lycabettus Theatre
Pyx Lax played two nights at Lycabettus Theatre on 6 and 7 June 2026, with Mariana Katsimicha as guest. The second night was added after the first sold out.
Pyx Lax at the Lycabettus Theatre was a pair of concerts by the Greek rock band on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2026, in the City of Athens summer programme at the hill theatre, run by Technopolis City of Athens. The singer Mariana Katsimicha, daughter of Panos Katsimichas, joined the band on stage. The first night was announced alone, and the band added the second in May after the first sold out.
The band first played Lycabettus in 1996 and gave a run of sold-out nights there in 2000. Filippos Pliatsikas and Babis Stokas led a line-up of Haris Michailidis on electric guitar, Nikos Saltas on keyboards, Eleftheria Nathanail on piano and accordion, Alexis Kourtis on drums, Akis Abrazis on bass and Christos Kyriazis on wind instruments. Stray Music produced both concerts.
The set drew on the band’s catalogue and on Ligo Chroma gia ta Skoura, its album of ten new songs. On the second night the band dedicated songs to Dionysis Savvopoulos, Lavrentis Machairitsas and Vasilis Karras, and Pliatsikas thanked Manos Xydous for making the band what it became.
