The Megaron Artistic Season

The Megaron Artistic Season is the annual programme of Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall, running from mid-October 2026 through spring 2027 across four halls on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue; the 2026–27 schedule publishes towards the end of summer.

Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall runs its annual artistic season from mid-October through spring, across four auditoria on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue: the Christos Lambrakis Hall, the Alexandra Trianti Hall, the Dimitris Mitropoulos Hall, and the Nikos Skalkotas Hall. The 2026–27 season opens in mid-October 2026; the programme publishes towards the end of summer, with presales having opened on 8 September in the previous season.

The Athens Concert Hall Organisation was established in 1981 under Christos D. Lambrakis, its first president. The Friends of Music Society appoints three of the organisation’s eleven trustees, and the Camerata – Friends of Music Orchestra holds a residency alongside the Athens State Orchestra.

The 2025–26 season opened on 17 October 2025 with soprano Asmik Grigorian and pianist Lukas Geniušas, and included Teodor Currentzis’s Utopia Orchestra, the London Philharmonic under Paavo Järvi, and Sir John Eliot Gardiner.
