The composer and violinist Evanthia Reboutsika played the Lycabettus Theatre on Thursday 17 September 2026, the central Athens date of her summer tour.
Evanthia Reboutsika at the Lycabettus Theatre was a concert by the Greek composer and violinist on Thursday 17 September 2026. It was part of the City of Athens autumn programme at the hill theatre, which Technopolis City of Athens runs. The press announced it as the central stop of her 2026 summer tour.
The programme drew on her music for film, theatre and her own records. Her score for Tassos Boulmetis’s film A Touch of Spice won the State Prize at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and the World Soundtrack Academy named her Discovery of the Year 2006 for Çağan Irmak’s film Babam ve Oğlum. Born in Patras, she began the violin at the age of six at the Patras Conservatory and later studied at the École normale de musique in Paris.
The night before, on 16 September, she played in the courtyard of Toplou Monastery in eastern Crete, as part of the Region of Crete Festival 2026. Her previous headline night at Lycabettus was Carousel on 5 July 2024, a show with street performers, acrobats, 11 musicians and the Omonoia Gastouriou philharmonic band from Corfu.
