Diana Ross at the Panathenaic Stadium
Diana Ross closed her 2025 UK and European tour at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens on Wednesday 16 July 2025, with Elena Paparizou as the opening act.
Diana Ross at the Panathenaic Stadium was a single concert by the American singer on Wednesday 16 July 2025, in the marble stadium in central Athens known as the Kallimarmaro. Athens was the last date of her 2025 UK and European tour, which she called “Sacred Memories”. The tour opened in Birmingham on 22 June and took in London’s O2, the Accor Arena in Paris, the Montreux Jazz Festival and the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam before it reached Greece.
Ross came to fame in the 1960s as the lead singer of the Supremes and began her solo career in 1970. At the stadium she sang “I’m Coming Out”, “Upside Down”, “Love Don’t Come Easy” and “Baby Love”. The stage was set out to bring her close to the audience, and the promoters limited the number of seats as a result.
The Greek singer Elena Paparizou opened the evening, and her set included “Number One”. Ross started her own set shortly after 10pm. Galaxias Live Productions produced the concert. It was one of several major concerts at the Panathenaic Stadium in summer 2025, a programme that also included Anna Vissi, Ludovico Einaudi and Robbie Williams.
