The Young Patrons Summer Weekend
The Museum of Cycladic Art takes its Young Patrons circle to Kythnos from 17 to 19 July 2026 for the twelfth edition of the annual members-only summer weekend, with a panigyri at Panagia Flabouriani, a walk through Vryokastro, and a closing visit to the Archaeological Museum of Kythnos.
The Young Patrons Summer Weekend is an annual members-only event organised by the Museum of Cycladic Art, held on a different Cycladic island each July. It is open to Young Patrons, the membership circle of the museum for members under forty-five, established in 2015. The twelfth edition is held on Kythnos from 17 to 19 July 2026.
The three-day programme begins on Friday evening with a panigyri at Panagia Flabouriani, featuring a Cycladic dinner by Nomade et Sauvage. Saturday includes an early-evening walk through Vryokastro, the ancient capital of Kythnos, inhabited from the twelfth century BC and still under excavation, followed by the circle’s summer party at Harena. The weekend closes on Sunday with a farewell gathering at the Archaeological Museum of Kythnos.
