The forum ran for a single day and consisted of panels on net-zero regulation, energy security, the geopolitics of trade routes, and shipping finance in a tightening market. It drew close to a thousand delegates and more than a hundred speakers, among them shipowners, government ministers, bankers, and the heads of shipping associations. At the forum luncheon, Capital Link conferred its 2026 Greek Shipping Leadership Award on Pantelis Eleftherios Kollakis, chairman of the Chartworld group.
The forum keeps an early-February schedule in Athens. The fifteenth edition was held on 7 February 2025, when the award went to Thanasis Martinos of Eastern Mediterranean Maritime.
