The 1000 Miglia Experience Greece
The 1000 Miglia Experience Greece is the Greek edition of the Brescia regularity event, a four-day road route of about 1,100 kilometres run from Athens across the Peloponnese; the third edition is expected in the autumn of 2027.
The 1000 Miglia Experience Greece is the Greek edition of the 1000 Miglia, the Brescia road event that has carried that name since 1927, and is run by San Marino Speed under licence from 1000 Miglia S.r.l. The third edition is expected in the autumn of 2027, the window the series has held since it began: the first edition ran from 7 to 11 October 2025, the second from 29 September to 3 October 2026.
An edition is a four-day route of about 1,100 kilometres, opening in Athens with administrative and technical scrutineering before the field crosses to the Peloponnese. The 2026 route ran Athens to Ancient Olympia, on to Mystras by way of Kalamata, across Arcadia through Kollines to Porto Heli, and back to Athens through Nafplio, finishing at Astir Marina Vouliagmeni. The first edition started from the Acropolis and drew more than 30 international crews, and was won by the Ferrari 488 Pista of Macario and Di Costanzo, ahead of the OM 665 Sport MM of Wetz and Galloni and the Lancia Fulvia of Matsuba and Matsuba.
Four classes run together. The 1000 Miglia Eligible class is confined to models that took part in at least one of the 24 editions of the 1000 Miglia speed race between 1927 and 1957 and hold FIVA or Registro 1000 Miglia certification; the 1000 Miglia Historic class takes cars built up to 1957 without that eligibility; Classic Icons covers 1958 to 1994; and a GT and supercar class runs from 1995 onward. The winner of the Eligible class takes a guaranteed entry to the following year’s 1000 Miglia in Italy, which is what separates the Experience series from the touring rallies it otherwise resembles.
