Sani Club stands at the far end of Sani Resort, in ancient olive groves on the Kassandra peninsula of Halkidiki, with the Aegean in front of it. Of the five hotels on the estate it is the one set apart, with the protected wetland and the forest at its back rather than the resort’s movement. Soft white sand runs along its front, and the ground behind it carries over 20km of forest trails.

The hotel holds 148 suites, set into the hillside, and every one was renovated for the 2025 season. The work ran in two phases, the interiors first and the outdoor spaces after, and the accommodation was completed in April 2025. Brown and green carry through the renewed rooms, with bare stone set against them. Outside, the walkways are laid in stone, and lavender grows under the olive trees.

From June 2025 a walkable promenade joined Sani Club to the rest of the resort for the first time. It runs through Sani Dunes, the Marina and Porto Sani, passes behind Sani Asterias and carries on to Sani Beach, and club cars take anyone who would rather not walk it.

The suites

The beachfront bungalow suites are the hotel’s own form of accommodation, spacious and private, some of them with a pool and garden of their own. Two room types joined them for the 2026 season: a two-bedroom suite with a private garden and a view across the Aegean, and a one-bedroom bungalow suite with a private pool and a garden view, sized for three adults and a child or two adults and two children up to the age of 12. The rest of the range runs from double rooms to two-bedroom bungalow suites on the beach itself, with direct sand access and a heated pool.

The ground

The estate covers 1,000 acres of beach-framed forest, and the wetlands beside the hotel run to about 110 hectares. They hold over 225 species of bird, many of them rare or globally endangered. The Hellenic Ornithological Society monitors the Sani wetlands and runs the guided eco trips with the resort. The wider resort has seven beaches along 7km of sand. Sani became the first carbon neutral resort in Greece in 2020.

The resort’s own fitness programme reaches the water and the trees: yoga held on a paddleboard, runs led out along the forest paths. On land there is bike hire, archery, a treetop course and walks under the pine with a guide, and the academies teach football, tennis and sailing to anyone who wants the lesson.

The spa and the table

The Club Spa opens every day from 8am to 8pm, and one private garden gives a backdrop to all its treatment rooms. Its thermal area has one Turkish hammam, two saunas and a plunge pool, and there are four single treatment rooms, a couples’ suite, a Thai massage room and a manicure and pedicure room. Treatments use Anne Semonin Paris products, and the menu runs from Thai massage and Indian head massage to Oriental reflex therapy and Mediterranean salt exfoliation. Children under 16 cannot use the facilities, and there is a separate menu for ages 12 to 16.

Cabana is the hotel’s room on the sand, at the water’s edge, and it cooks French Mediterranean with a Côte d’Azur register: tartare and ceviche from local produce, French classics and a wine list. Dinner runs from 7pm to 9.30pm and takes a reservation. A guest at Sani Club may eat across all five hotels, which hold 39 restaurants, cafes and bars between them.

Who is this for

Anyone who wants the whole estate within reach and the quiet of its edge to come back to. It suits a guest who likes a long walk before dinner, and a family who would rather ride the forest paths than drive anywhere. The pool is heated and sprawling, with a children’s area set apart from it, and lunch arrives on palm-shaded terraces above the bay. A farm-to-table room on site, serving mainly local produce, covers the days nobody wants to move.
