Music and Mosaics is an exhibition by the artist Paolo Colombo, held at Bernier/Eliades Gallery in Athens. It is his third solo show at the gallery. The exhibition opened on Thursday 25 September 2025 and ran through 8 November. It comprised three sound installations, two clusters of floor mosaics, six large mosaic watercolours and two portraits of Greek musicians. The works draw on early-twentieth-century Greek folk music and the mosaic traditions of Greek, Roman and Byzantine antiquity. Colombo, born in Turin in 1949, lives and works in Athens.
Bernier/Eliades Gallery was founded by Jean Bernier in 1977; Marina Eliades joined soon after. The gallery introduced Arte Povera, Minimal and Conceptual art to the Greek public. Since 1999 it has occupied a neoclassical building at Eptachalkou 11 in Thissio. From 2016 it has also maintained a second space in the Châtelain quarter of Brussels. The opening of Music and Mosaics took place in the same late-September week as Art Athina 2025.
