The Historic Acropolis Rally is the classic-car counterpart to the Acropolis Rally, held annually in Central Greece, organised by the Hellenic Motor Sports Federation (OMAE). It sits on the FIA European Historic Rally Championship calendar. The 2027 edition is expected in late May; the organiser confirms dates and route closer to the running.
The route runs from a ceremonial start at Thermopylae, before the Leonidas monument, to a finish at the foot of the Acropolis in Athens, with gravel sectors crossing Fthiotida, Phocis, Boeotia and Karditsa, including the long-running “Tarzan” stage. The 2026 edition drew a record entry of sixty-three crews to the competitive championship and a separate regularity field of forty-three, with the rally’s headquarters based in Lamia.
