The name Harrods evokes an air of luxury and with hundreds of different departments selling everything from clothes to jewellery, stationery and beauty products, it offers shoppers the chance to do the same.

Originally established in 1824 as a drapers and haberdashery, the store has built up a strong reputation as a retailer of luxury products and sought after designer brands.

If you are looking for show stopping luxury and personalised shopping experiences, as well as a little taste of history, Harrods should undoubtedly be your first choice of shopping destination in London.

The second biggest department store in London after Harrods, Selfridges flagship store can be found on Oxford Street, the capital's ultimate shopping paradise. Established in 1909 by Harry Gordon Selfridge, the founder is rumoured to have been the first person to coin the phrase 'the customer is always right', and with that in mind, it naturally becomes indicative of the kind of high quality services and luxury products offered at the store.

Offering high end designer luxury brands as well as high quality high street names all under one roof, Selfridges provides products appropriate for individuals that span a whole spectrum of potential shoppers.

Products range from clothing to home and leisure and the store also boasts the world's largest shoe department so there is no chance you will leave without finding something that suits your personal style.
